01

The short version

We collect only what you choose to send us so we can respond to you, register you for an event, or acknowledge a gift. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with anyone for marketing, and we do not build advertising profiles of our visitors.

02

Information you give us

When you request an application, ask about sponsorship, register for an event, or send us a message, you may share your name, email address, phone number, organization, military or family status, the sessions you plan to attend, the number of guests in your party, a donation amount you intend to give, sponsorship interests, and any notes you write to us.

Providing this information is always your choice. If you would rather not share a particular detail, leave that field blank or contact us by email instead.

03

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as the date and time of your visit, the pages viewed, the browser and device type, and an approximate region derived from your network address. This information is used in aggregate to keep the site available and secure and to understand which pages are useful. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

04

How we use your information

We use the details you provide to reply to your inquiry, review an application or sponsorship request, confirm and manage an event registration, prepare guest lists for the exhibition and VIP receptions, acknowledge donations, and send occasional updates about programs and events we believe are relevant to you.

We may also use your information to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations connected with charitable gifts, and to protect the organization against fraudulent or abusive requests.

05

Donations and payments

Donations are processed by PayPal on PayPal's own secure pages. Your card or bank details are entered with PayPal and are never seen by, sent to, or stored by us. We receive only the confirmation and the information you choose to share with us as the recipient of the gift.

PayPal's handling of your information is governed by PayPal's privacy policy, which we encourage you to review before giving.

06

Who can see your information

Your information is available only to the small number of volunteers and staff who need it to carry out the purpose you gave it for, such as processing registrations or answering your inquiry. Access is limited to those working on organization business.

We do not sell, rent, trade or publish your information. We do not share it with other organizations, sponsors, mailing list brokers or advertisers. We may disclose information where required by law, or to a service provider that performs a task on our behalf under an obligation to keep it confidential.

07

Email and messages

If you contact us or register for an event, we will use your email address to respond and to send practical details about what you signed up for. You can ask us to stop sending updates at any time by replying to any message or writing to the address below, and we will remove you from further communications other than messages strictly needed to complete a registration or gift you requested.

08

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and registration records for as long as needed to run the program or event you contacted us about, and donation records for the period required by nonprofit record-keeping and tax rules. When a record is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the personal details from it.

09

Keeping information safe

We limit access to records, use reputable service providers, and take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect what you share. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot promise absolute security.

10

Children

Our site and programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has shared information with us, write to us and we will delete it.

11

Your choices

You may ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to vetsproalliance@gmail.com with your request and we will respond within a reasonable period. Deleting a record may mean we can no longer confirm an existing registration, so we will explain any consequence before we act.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

12

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date below. Please review it from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
